Presenting my work in Times Square; often called the “Crossroads of the World” has been one of the most powerful experiences of my career.
Over the years, I launched my NFT collections in Times Square in collaboration with Celebrity Cruises, expanding my work into the digital realm. At the same time, the physical versions of these sculptures (Dream Machine, Peace Makers, and Empower Flower) were exhibited at Randall’s Island Park, NYC, creating a dialogue between physical and digital worlds.
This dual presence allowed the work to exist simultaneously across mediums and spaces bridging sculpture, video, and NFT into one continuous narrative, and reaching audiences far beyond traditional gallery settings.
It all began during Pride month, when I transformed my Dandara sculpture into a monumental video installation displayed across the American Eagle billboard; one of the largest digital screens in Times Square, rising over 30 stories high. Seeing a message of visibility take over such an iconic space was both surreal and deeply meaningful.
